Many professional and voluntary bodies in Nigeria devote time and energy trying to prevent people being killed and seriously injured on our roads. The NRSP is a unique multi-agency partnership, which brings together those who design roads, road safety professionals and the organisations that deal with the results of road collisions.

The NRSP, an affiliate of the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) currently has eleven (12) partners. The partnership is based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Chief Executives (or representatives) of the organizations.
